WHERE: CEDRO PEAK CAMPGROUND, Tijeras (see map below)

SOL Forest School invites our families past & present to enjoy a summer weekend together in the trees and under the stars. We will gather for a large dose of "Vitamin N", forest play, fireside music and stories, family-led hikes, nature crafts, and more at Cedro Peak Group Campground, nestled in the Cibola National Forest in nearby Tijeras.

In the spirit of true community, we will need the volunteer participation of all attending families to ensure a successful and safe weekend. You will be asked to volunteer for a variety of tasks like stewarding (supervising) child nature & forest play, helping with camp clean up, firewood collection and tending, etc. A general list of anticipated tasks and activities are listed in the registration form, with more details and a sign-up sheet to follow. You will also be asked to attend a pre-camp Zoom call (or watch the recording), and a Friday evening camp welcome and orientation. We are excited for this opportunity to work together as a small village in a SOLful way and know that in so doing, we'll make this first-time-ever event a communal success!

Find out more about the weekend in the registration form!
