Do you wish to foster the connection between young children and the Natural World, growing future stewards in the process? Are you a preschool, Pre-K, K-2nd teacher or day care provider wanting to learn more about the Forest School pedagogy? Are you an Environmental Educator who is curious about the burgeoning field of Nature & Place-based Early Childhood Education (NPbECE), especially Forest Schools? Or, a public school teacher ready for a change; or even a program/school administrator who has heard of the "Forest Fridays" movement and are curious to know more? Do you long to start your own Forest or Nature Preschool, or perhaps work for an existing program and want to network and learn more about SOL Forest School & the SOL-Way? Our Professional Observation Days are for YOU!

Come and spend the day with us in the forest and see how our Treeschoolers ages 3-6 years and Tall Pines ages 6-10 years old learn and play with Nature as Teacher. See how SOL Forest School, an award-winning program and pioneering leader in the Nature & Place-based ECE field, delivers dynamic rain or shine programming throughout the school year.

Please also pack a water bottle, sun hat, pen and paper, snacks/lunch and turn off your phone at arrival (photos from the day will be posted on our Facebook page and/or sent to you following the visit). Please be sure to also bring your sense of playful, child-like adventure along!

It is highly recommended that you spend time on our website before visiting. We look forward to sharing the wonder of learning in the forest with you!
